You can earn 18 strange coins in 2 missions...its called weekly heroic on lvl 28 with 2 characters.....true story...you may even get more through drop in addition

I get 27 per week with my 3 characters. People can't say I don't earn my exotics because I've spent countless hours raising 3 characters of different classes to have their own equipment strong enough to do raids, weekly, and nightfall
