I earned my Ice Breaker scrubs!
I earned my Ice Breaker by sitting in PvP and spinning while watching TV. If you bought it you didnt have the luck to find it so you had to play the Weekly Strike or get coins from engrams scrubs!

How cod this be?!? You may ask. Well in everything that you do to possibly earn an exotic excluding exotic bounties; the loot system is based on the RNG loot system. So logically speaking if you earn an exotic through the crucible, an engram or a strike, you have lucked into the weapon/armor. Now those of us who aren't as lucky have gone through the past week or two farming a little something called strange coins. Now after earning strange coins through the weekly strike and also getting some from RNG (don't get me wrong there is still a little bit of randomization but we could buy an exotic through not getting any from RNG) We EARNED enough strange coins to purchase an exotic from a limited selection. So to everyone saying they "earned" their exotics I ask one thing of you. Please for the love of God check yourself before you wreck yourself. Goodnight all!

I got my icebreaker from nightfall but xûr selling it counts as earning it to me people had to work for the coins

I earned my helmet by killing atheon (I sat there killing oracles, some Warlock guy shoved him off the map, not my fault) I earned all my stuff, by playing the game, and getting my stuff. How dare you get stuff differently than I get stuff. I am jealous of the stuff you get, and I want that stuff. I want to go home and get more stuff! Especially the Vex Mythoclast!

I think the people mostly butthurt about this are the ones who are level 27-30 and see level 20's and 21's using this gun. Seriously just because you can do the weekly or raid doesn't mean the guy who spent all his time hording coins didn't earn the right to own the same gun.
