Could you link where they stated that? Curious if that's what they said is all.
And even then.. "The Best" when it comes to weapons comes down to RoF and Impact. (For Crucible/ IB)

They said it all the time when talking about the iron banner. The line used all the time was "bring your toughest gear, your strongest weapons, you're going to need them. "
