Why are you using your super on Phogoth anyway? Quit your bitching.
Titans are CQB hence their armor
Warlocks are mid ranged
Hunters are long range and CQB.

You clearly are not a Titan. Titans barely have anymore armor then the other classes.

My main is a Titan, and I do just fine around phogoth. I save fists for when any boss has only a sliver of health left, and use it then. Until that point, I'm just using my guns and grenades. On the nexus strike, I only use my super to clear the vex as Fists isn't effective against the nexus. I don't really ever have any trouble.

Yeah, im not complaining that FoH is weak, I just wish there was a more direct attack alternative.

I hear you. I've pretty much delegated myself to clearing mobs and being a distraction to the boss with defender. It's a coop game after all.

Yeah, I would do the same thing, but I usually play with another striker titan and a Bladedancer, and it turns into a competition to kill the adds.

In pvp they don't because they're all muffed down to balance out each other. Bungie isn't deciding things based strictly on Crucible. Regardless of that though, Titans do have much more armor than Hunters and Warlocks. Titans get armor Hunters get agility Warlocks get regeneration

It's not that much more anywhere, anybody who calls a titan a tank needs to level up a titan up to at least lvl 25.

It's a noticeable difference. I've played my buddy's level 28 Titan and the bullets just rolled off of it compared to my Warlock and Hunter.
