A while back my brother got a bundle of all of them, DLC included up to Generals.

I really need to get it, it's the only Halo I don't own.

It's pretty good man, It's not what you'd expect, but you get to know all the units very well, and the game comes down to a combination of build time and unit micro. I've had a lot of crazy matches in that game, it can swing very fast, but I've had matches run 3+ hours and it was straight fighting the whole time.

Sounds pretty badass, love that intense RTS action.

It's great, especially when you keep trying to out-tank rush each other and you decide to switch to AT/Air, and steam roll his army, advance to his base, only to be overcome by a massive carpet of ODSTs and the occasional spartan tank, and you have to fall back to AT, but then HE pulls out Air and you're left scrambling to cover it with AA and so on and so forth.

Not every match is like that, but once you really start to understand the game, you'll start having a LOT of fun. Very underrated game.
