Do alliances serve a purpose?
What is the purpose of alliances? From the wording it sounds like joining an alliance envelopes the second group into the first. Is that true, or does both groups still independently exist?
Can members of the same alliance but not the same clan get the achievement for playing together?

2 RepliesDo you get anything in game to notify if alliance members are online ? (we haven't made an alliance yet) I can see that being of benefit, say if it's essentially a pool of people you can invite to a raid without having to be in the same clan?

1 ReplyI did one with a friend of mine where I invited him to be in an alliance, and it is useless. At most, there is a dropdown bar on the clan page to easily swap between each groups homepage, but other than that it does absolutely nothing.

2 RepliesI've searched online for an answer to this but to no avail. I'd really like to know what are the advantages of forming an alliance? Our clan has been offered two alliances with smaller groups, but i'm sceptical about joining with other clans until i know what alliances are all about. Does anyone else have any information?
