Ascendent Shards (Upgrading Legendaries)
Ok, I am a just barely a level 26, I have all Legendary armor as of last night and have been upgrading my armor throughout the process. But the last stage of upgrading, when Ascendent Shards come into play, I stopped because I only have 2 throughout my 30+ hours of playing the game. I found out the Daily Strike is the way to get one but other than that is there a way to get them other than just one a day?

2 RepliesRaid daily and public events ate the best way. Try googling destiny public event guide you can earn quite a few in a few hours if you're lucky. You won't always get a reward for it and sometimes its energy not shards

Vanguard and Crucible marks but you legendary armour which you have to dismantle into shards.

After Dailies, Raid, and Events, start racking up vanguard and crucible marks, then buy legendary armor at both, then break the armor down. I always get at least 2 shards a piece, sometimes 3. This can help expedite the process.

They take a long time to get. Now that legendaries aren't so hard to get now it will help a little but don't expect to have them maxed in less than a few days/week

You should be happy that you have found the two you have. It seems like a lot of people are having the same issue, while for others, it seems it is all they can find. I, for one, haven't found one yet and I have 2 and a half days of play time. Seems odd.
