Uh, because it's fun for me to play right now. I can justify that because I don't really give a damn how much money was put into it or how much time was put into it, because it wasn't my time or my money. In fact, no consumer that I know of invested time or money in the making of this game, only emotions. I could go on about how emotionally investing in a game [i] prior to its release [/i] is probably never a good idea, but that's a whole different topic.
Here's how I look at it: I'm watching a 7/10 or 8/10 movie that had an epic trailer.
