No offense though daz, but aren't the mods supposed to take care of the problem as it pops up? You and every other mod should know Destiny topics shouldn't be in #Gaming. I get you guys can't be there 24/7 and stop every thread that slips by you, but for crying out loud it's kind of stupid to move topics made by users who are trying to address the issue. Off Topic has basically become the dumping grounds of the site where any unwanted non-Destiny topics is placed. Simply put, the fire is right in front of you guys and you're waiting for us to tell you to put out each individual flame. We like this site, and that's why we're asking for help because although we can self moderate, it's almost too big of a task to handle. The problem isn't entirely the Ninjas' fault, it's mainly Bungie's decisions that caused things to get out of hand. We're just looking at you guys for help in part because you're the only ones close enough to Bungie we can actively communicate to and you're the only ones who can really help until Bungie gets their act together and makes changes to help us. Sorry for the long read, but in short: please take a more active role in helping direct people to the right places.

When is it no longer "the time being"? I absolutely hate questioning authority, but honestly this is ridiculous. If at any point in time before Destiny, a new user would be put in their place.

You do realize that most of the people looking for Destiny specific posts have almost no chance of seeing them if they post in #gaming. It's not helping the people posting to leave them in that board either. While it may not be objectionable, it's not very productive to have to look through all the various boards to read all the posts which should be on another board.

I also took the liberty of reporting the first 8 pages of #gaming, and the first two of #community. Hopefully you guys can straighten these out. It's impossible for users to stay on top of reporting all of these misplaced threads. There's obviously a design flaw in this site because users should understand what the different sections are for.

The shit moderation of Bungie.net, everyone! If you see something that is wrong, you should have the initative to fix it. Not sit back and wait for us to report every single post that Destiny fans post in the wrong forum because Bungie didn't take into consideration the necessity for a recruiting forum.
