It's definetly not the final blow, because in a party of three on Patrol(and in Devil's Lair), only 2 people(sometimes less but never more) get credit for it. I also know it's not the final blow because in strike and patrol I have done some damage and then sat back and watched towards the end just to see what happens and I have gotten credit.
