Whats this obsession with loot cave 2.0 lol...
I don't know how much engrams you average per hour but heres how I farm engrams. Shocking yes.
Level 24 strikes (You can even do 18/20)... You get a good team (even in pub...) and you can average a strike in 15-20 minutes. So 3-4 a hour. Now I get about 1 engram a game (top kills though?), sometimes not.. But than you get a chance at the reward. Every 1-2 games I'll get one.
I played strikes for 2 hours yesterday and had like 10 engrams. What is the average rate per hour with a loot cave? I never tried it or will I, personally mindless shooting is -blam!-ing boring and for noobs.
Man up, pussies.

New one is garbage. 30-45 min will get you 6 uncommon and 2-3 rare. Good way to stock up on weapon parts and dismantled armor. Get it while you can, I suspect the patch tomorrow to lengthen all 6 second spawn caves.

4 RepliesIt's something new and rewarding. Doing the same strike mission gets old quick. It wouldn't be so bad, if the rewards were good.

LC 2.0 is probably 100x more soul drainingly boring than the first one.

I get on average an engram every primary ammo mag, so every 5 minutes or so. A lot faster than strikes anyways. Got all my legendary weapons and half my legendary armor through loot cave farming, no exotics though because the cryptarch doesnt like me :)
