I didn't say exotics should be easier to collect. I said ascendant shards and energies should. You need dozens of these to upgrade weapons and armor, an I usually only receive one per 4 hours. So If my weapon needs 6 ascendant energy to purchase just one upgrade (there are still three more after this upgrade), it will take me 24 hours just to purchase one upgrade for said gun.
