Let me just ask, if you were a game developer, would you like an OP feature for a non-OP thing? I wouldn't. So, Bungie did this to balance the game, NOT to annoy us.

Let me just say this, just do Vault of Glass a lot and get the shards. It's OP otherwise.

Do you realize how in a two week period how many ascendant shards you would be able to get by grinding Queens missions? It would be kinda ridiculous. You could probably fully upgrade all your armor by day 3 or 4. Ascendant materials should not be that easy to attain.

The point I made was that ascendant shards should not be considered as OP. Exotic weapons however...

The method being used to acquire ascendant shards using Queens bounties was OP. Thats the point being made.
