Reason? ME3 had a multiplayer component. Comp Players tend to be hostile to everyone becuase its all a "Who's d ick is bigger?" contest. The Halo games had a balanced following of both Story and PvP players. Destiny has a seriously vocal PvP population who's cries of B ullshit that rival to ISIS and they are sabotaging the game for everyone.

Ok yeah that makes sense but ME3s multiplayer was co op not competetive yet there was endless hate in the forums directed at both the developers and other players. Very similar to what I have seen here. There has to be more to it than just the fact it has PVP

You also have to count that this is a new generation of gamers. The game is crap and the only people defending it are the PvP players, ala CoD? The game is shallow, there isn't enough content for anything. That could be another reason for all the hate. The reason why I have a love/hate relationship is because the game is fundamentaly broken. The PvE balancing is backwards, Loot drops are RNG. Same missions and strikes that do not change any at all with repetitive bounties. Couple the bad choice in patches. I'm suprised the game hasn't been canned by now.

Well it is only a few weeks in. I think that the core gameplay is sound for pve but just dosent work for pvp. The enviroment are great and so is the music. The problems lie in the copy paste aproach taken with mission objectives and bosses as well as the absolute bare bones cardboard cuttout story. Seriously I dont think a single main character has even one personality trait or even a name for that matter. What I dont understand is how or even why enyone can defend the story or missions. Doesnt stop them from trying though

Fanboysim to sheer elitism. I want to like this game, but its such a let down its ridiculous. In order to have fun I now folow new guys around on Patrol and act like heavily armored Batman. If they can't handle it, I'll take care of it......... Cause I'm motherf ucking Batman......
