Look on the other side of your map. There's a chart in the bottom right corner, with an arrow pointing up on one side. Your letters and numbers on the other side configure with this. Start with A, and work your way up. There are 9 circles around the chart, indicating each letter/number is significant. Then order these from the circle closest to the center outward. Enter the 9 digit code and you'll get a Legendary emblem. : )

And a little arrow next to A so it could mean something, bungie tends o have something behind what they do even if its just a joke
