I would like to agree... Really I would...
But I can't. With all the hours into Titan and a LOT of PvE and PvP Titan in skilled hands are amazing.
In Rumble I see consistently win the following subs with no priority to any of them usually having a lot of points:
Defender*, Sunsinger and Bladedancer. Usually because their Supers are better built for 1vs1.
*Defender can be insane. Even after becoming a priority for everyone else I have seen defenders just dominate with WoD+BoL, Melee+Unbreakable and Suppression Grenade, which pretty much rips all powers from target.
In Control and Clash Striker, Gunslinger and Voidwalker are far more dangerous then the other subs due to their Supers being better for that type of gameplay: GG with combustion+keyhole, FOH+Aftermath+Aftershocks and NB+AM.
Given I have seen this complaint from all classes I can safely say they must all be Under Powered. Thus balanced.

My problem with WoD is that it doesn't block other supers, which makes it pretty vulnerable.

But these Defenders are so skilled. Most of the time they got -you- dead before you can pull out your Super. I have seen Arc Blade bite it bad after zipping inside. They also make good use of their Suppression grenade to ensure their kill. It is the sole reason why I am leveling my Defender. Yeah takes a lot of skill and effort but I really like how they can be a pain in the ass to take down. If they are lucky to have Saint 14 Exotic (very lucky even if Xur is selling it I don't have it but came across one who did) well... Last upgrade blinds opponents if they even think of going inside. Usually my best bet is to bum rush them with a shoulder charge, catch them with a FOH while I am within or wait for WoD to go down before even thinking of approaching. TL;DR WoD+WoL/BoL works as a severe deterrent is the Defender knows what he is doing. If anything I would have it block the equivalent of damage of two GG shots and burst at the third shot.

Thank you for some PvP insight into this because I am not very familiar with PvP it's not my cup of tea in this game. My initial response is my post is geared more specifically toward PvE content in the game as PvP is what it is. I am not too concerned with it because frankly I do not like the PvP in this game. I like PvP, But the pvp in this game is severely lacking IMHO. However, that is another topic for another day lol. My main focus with this post and hopefully kicking up enough fuss and attention will result in changes that will make the class more FUN. That is my main concern is the Titan isn't a FUN class to play and overall the gameplay mechanics do not FIT in the current scheme of the game when it comes to PvE content. Now I am aware of people being worried "well if you buff them in PvE they'll be OP in pvp" there are numerous games out there that can help divide PvE and PvP. Played a f2p game Dragon Nest and all they do is tune down the stats between PvP and PvE. If a stun lasts for 5 secs in PvE...it only lasts for 2-3secs in PvP. If a F2P game can institute like that I would hope a game with the biggest launch and 500 million budget and so forth can do some work to just reduce effectiveness in PvP to even the playing field. I will say though specifically toward pvp that you have to be careful with the "in skilled hands....etc" because well when has that never been how it works? Numerous games have had underpowered characters or abilities and whatnot that for the general user was just that, but there is always that ONE (or group of players) who spend so much time that it's not that the character or skill is balanced, but the player skill overcomes the discrepancies in the class. But again, that's just me retorting some. I honestly do not play PvP that much and i could see some skills working a bit better there than PvE. I'm just missing the Fun and effectiveness factor in PvE. It frustrates me to see the enemies we fight have more diverse arsenals than what we bring to the table. Why not include the Sword of Croata gameplay as an option for an armor cladded titan? or the spread rocket/shotgun as another weapon? Things like that to differentiate the classes. Warlocks should be called WARLOCKS for a reason. Why do warlocks have no real "spells" aside from a supercharge? What is so Hunter about the Hunter? Why is my guy named a TITAN if there is nothing TITAN about him? the classes are too freaking similar.

After all they do turn off Level advantages. I am sure they could. However... The real problem is not your character. It is the game design where your levels don't seem to mean anything. Basically at level 27 anything below three levels shouldn't be hurting me. It doesn't even -feel- like I got levels. And THAT is the problem I feel in PvE.
