The Queen's Wrath would net a hundred and forty Ascendant shards for dedicated players. 140. What would you do with 140 Ascendant shards? How can you not think that might be a little bit too much? And as for the broken PvP system, Jesus. They want to keep people playing their game. Punishing players for not being the best is not going to help them become the best. Your scout rifle's clip is too small to get you more than one kill at a time? Ah well, better watch the MvP get awarded a brand new autorifle for his deeds. That'll sure shake the status quo up.

 • I think they're trying to even the odds. If the best players in pvp get the best gear and the bad players get nothing then the gap between the good and the bad gets wider. The players like myself who are new to pvp will give up all together. Why try, right. That being said I believe that the best players in the match deserve to be rewarded otherwise what's the point in winning. They need to figure out a way to reward winners. Maybe when you accomplish a certain amount of kills, captured zones, or whatever you get something good. This means that the people that suck still have a goal to work toward (though it may take longer thus rewarding them with the practice needed to get better) and will eventually be rewarded with an awesome item also. They could also reward people based in their lvl or gear they have. If a person in pvp continually sucks despite his best efforts award him with slightly better gear than he has in the hopes he'll do better. Give winners ascendence shards or something they can actually use. (Strange coins, motes of light?) I don't know. Maybe these aren't the answers either. I suck at pvp, but I have never been rewarded for it. I have the worst luck. Instead of just complaining how about we come up with some solutions.

 • I just thought of something. Why not put people into matches based on performance. If you have players who are awsome, use their K/D to put them against eachother- reward the winners. That way crappy players play against other crappy players until they improve, and when they are rewarded for doing well in their class, they will perform better, and they will advance to a harder class. That way crappy players don't feel dominated by the super awesome, and awesome players get rewarded for their awesome.

 • Then give us 1 or 2 shards, but to cut the loot drop rate AND take away ALL the shards from scrapping DUPLICATE gear drops of missions for lvl 24 players that have decent gear already is like sh¡tting on the entire PvE community. Bungie and Activision are looking a lot more like Rockstar and Take-two every day, only they are just peddling PvP crap, not the Microtransaction hell-spawn Sharkcards. Or will Exotic gear be for sale next week for real money to ruin this game fully before October?

 • The loot drops aren't dropping permanently. The same post that told you they were dropping also told you that was a short-term thing. I'm lv27 and there's no point me doing the Kill Orders, I'm fully with you on that. The system is ridiculous. It was ridiculously overdone from the start, and now it's ridiculously nerfed. Give me a legendary engram per Kill Order. That's an equivalent reward, right? Next time you have a complaint, try offering a solution that isn't "Let's strike." This is how Thatcher ruined the North.

 • [sarcasm] Just for the weekend (when people have time off to play) and the shards needed for upgrades no longer are obtained from scrapping legendary loot obtained through doing lvl 24 missions that are only available for a limited time. 😄 How conVENIEnt... [/sarcasm]

 •
What would you do with 140 Ascendant shards?
Well, considering it would take 72 of those to fully upgrade a 4 piece set of Legendary armor...

 • Pretty sure it more like " oh you didn't kill anyone one? Here's an exotic to even the score!"

 • When I first tried pvp and was dying but getting good loot I thought that's how it worked. I'm thinking I was right. The real game ends once you need purples.

 • Or maybe it's this thing called 'random rewards' and you earn rewards for playing rather than for winning, thus encouraging more diverse playstyles and encouraging frequent losers to stay in the game and potentially improve.

 • But eventually unless you are level 30 pvp is nothing more than a distraction. I love the pvp (unbalanced as it may be) but when I win rumble twice and get a blue and last place gets a shader and a purple, I no longer feel like I'm earning anything. If I hit my cap for crucible points what then? Pvp is strictly for bounties when I play. But that's me.

 • PvP is half the game, mate. Y'know like how you play Halo or Call of Duty? It's not a distraction because that's the whole reason you're playing the game. If you're only doing it to reach level 30 and get exclusive gear, you can use a calculator to +1 every time you hit the =, and then you can show off to your friends that you pressed the button more than they did.

 • True but this is how I see it. I got a bounty after turning in five bounties at once. It was for an exotic shotgun. Of course being a fresh lvl 20 I was very hyped. Little did I know what it involved. Not only was it a 3 step deal but I had to do a weekly strike. This should be easy except I have no friends that play Destiny (forever alone) and to be honest I hate being randomly paired with people so I pulled a idiot and jumped into the strike. My beating was swift. My girlfriend walked in and walked back out ashamed of me (or because I was yelling at my tv) so I quit and went on the hunt for better light gear. Finally a level higher I go into the summoning chamber. I spent a good hour on the boss alone but I did it. I singlehandedly defeated a level 22 strike on my own. After buying 50 special ammo packs I owned my exotic. Yes I had to level it up BUT I DID IT. That's a way better story than. I lost pvp but got a legendary and it became an exotic. I'm legend? I want to play pvp and be rewarded when I win. I'm not sayin snuff the bottom. Give out good loot to the top 3 and then do a second screen in which you and only you get a random item that could be anything. Or even have like a loyalty reward. You log on once a day you automatically get a reward. Keep coming back and the rewards get better. I want everyone to have fun but as it is it's pretty lame when you have a heated pvp match only for last place to get epic drops.

 • Man I can totally relate. My first kill order from the queen (before I realized what a load this whole queen thing is) was for the black garden. On epic. Alone. At lvl 24. You put it well, the beating was swift lol. I stuck with it for a couple hours though, and after damn near 70 deaths I beat it. I was pretty happy with the queen chest piece...until I got 4 more of them...but even then, I have to admit that one does remind me that I did pull that insanity off. I wish the reward was less oversaturated, but I kind of see what Bungie means about the story.

 • You did the Phogoth weekly solo? Mate, that IS legend. It took three of us and we accidentally despawned all the enemies so we could win. Turns out if you have two people hiding in the entrance-room and one person sniping from the other side of the chamber, the enemies rush the doorway and then despawn and never come back. I'm not proud of it, but it happened. But, again, think about when you played Halo. Assuming you did. Everybody played Halo. What did you get for winning? You were playing because you wanted to play. That's how I see the Crucible. I play not because I want more meaningless pixels and numbers to stack on top of my meaningless pixels and numbers, I play Crucible because I fancy some first-person shooting. The random drops are your loyalty reward. The only thing I'm frustrated with is that my Exotic fusion gun bounty requires ten rare or better fusion guns to dismantle. I've had it almost a week and I've not seen a single fusion gun. What's going on with that? Also I just had to check your profile but it appears you're a PS4 player. Was gonna offer for you to join with my crew for the weeklies and events and such, but we're Xbox 360.

I consider myself to be terrible at Crucible, but most of the time I am having fun with it.

 • They need a trading system cause if they did and you were on ps4 id give you 7rare and one legendary fusion rifle no biggie. As for the solo it wasn't so much legend as it was run around in circles praying you don't shoop da whooped while taking potshots at el giante lmao. But again I see what your saying and I can respect your opinion. Me and you might just play differently for different reasons. I feel like simple things could be added that could eliminate tons of the valid complaints I've seen.
