I had one of the best control matches of my life today. 3.0 k/d (yeah I'm not great, get over it) and I was top player in the match. "Oh boy! I'm FINALLY going to get something good!!" Nooooooope. I literally got nothing. I've never gotten anything more than rare in crucible either.

Same same. Never ever have I gotten anything above blue gear/engrams. And only once I got a coin. In the same time people with 20+ deaths, 0 kills and maybe one assist are getting rewarded with a legendary engram. This is the main reason why I despise PvP in this game. I only did some PvP for the queen but even that is now completly pointless.. And after what? Like 3 days or so?
