Or have the grenades be different debuffs such as decreasing attack,defense, or speed

That would be WAY too OP... imagine people decreasing other's armor on PvP.. you would basically kill them with 1 shot... currently sometimes people kills me with 3-4 shots... non-sense... plus some guys' shotguns do 1-shot too... mine doesn't.

Defense wise healers/support roles are generally weak so I think it would even it out.
