I find this response interesting. The perspective gives it more information for both sides of the screen. I am also guilty of sharing my sex though so I can't be strict on either sides, just found it interesting. May I add though, from my point of view; I recognize it is wrong while playing online to judge every player as male, but I am still guilty of doing so. I think it would be a bad case of stereotyping "only guys play video games, girls paint their nails." Horrible example I know :P but still, an example none the less. Because I assume every player on the other side is male regardless of the sex of character, it is only natural to purposely seek truth behind the assumption. The easiest being to just go out there and announce ones own gender. Ranting aside before I go in loops of the same concept (and I am aware this topic has brought on more things than just gender, but that's the one that peeked my interest): I think there is just simply, not enough research before putting yourself out there that is the main cause. For example; I had no idea the announcement of identity outside of the console (or pc in some cases) world, was such a big deal, but now I know. These little tips are indeed good to know, that's why I found this reply interesting. Though you can't tell me, upon seeing that female Titan, you're not just a little bit curious of who is wielding it ;) I know I am on both aspects. Is that dude really a dude? Is that chick really a chick? Even the comments here state they are still unconvinced that the author of this topic is truly female. So just an interesting thought, couldn't help myself and had to write a "book" about it, so I must apologize for the long post :/ Interesting concept, well done.
