Not to be a dick but you could easily play pve and get the same loot. And if you are playing for just fun you shouldnt worry about getting loot. And im sorry about your hand that sounds pretty rough.

Bungie made some items PVP only drops. I also enjoy PVP. You dont have to be good to have fun. I dont think you were being a d*** at all =)
