So after exercising all requested bureaucracy and investigating the issue at length I was able to exercise the above mentioned rights with my retailer and also figured out what the problem was.
The bungie errors which plagued me were fixed efficiently and I experience them very rarely to not at all. Credit where credit is due, thanks Bungie.
The PS4 CE system errors were as a result of faulty hardware and after replacing my console I have not experienced a single one. Once again, I have to say that with legitimate complaint and relatively weak proof of purchase I was taken care of very efficiently.
