this post just reeks of I WANT TO DOMINATE NEWBS MORE. you want great players to get their supers faster, so they can dominate sorry players more than they are already doing so. i think sorry players should have their supers charge faster, to help them out.
supers aren't really gamechangers, it doesn't make a .50kd player into a 1.5 kd player, it turns him into a .51kd player.
it makes the game fun, if you hate it so much, don't use it.
oh wait, you can't cause there's something satisfying about seeing your guardian do a spectacular move to kill people. that said, it doesn't make or break a match, and turn a sorry player into a FPS god of death. The only time it really matters is in a competitive evenly matched fight. Then saving and timing of super use really matters.

Actually, it does make or break matches, almost every match in Control. It 100% secures flags, wins teamfights, and secures map control. Something with that much of an effect on the outcome of the game should be treated as such. The point of this post isn't for good players to get more Supers. That isn't even close to my point, nor is it what I really want to see. It's just an idea. I'm talking about offering counterplay, balance, and a rewarding ability system. Besides, Supers are already earned through point-based Energy gain, and I do think that should be emphasized more. More point based, less matter of time based. And you're missing the bigger picture here. I like Supers. I like that they CAN be gamechangers. But for what they are, they're a hugely overbearing presence. If you think the purpose of my post was to say that good players should get Supers more and bad players shouldn't get them nearly as much, then this post clearly went over your head.
