Although I'm in favor I doubt they will. it's probably a lot of red tape to go through including a ratings change

I met some people in Halo that I now play Destiny with because of in game chat. To have a random Guardian covering the entrance to your strike while you blaze through and not be able to say 'Thank you' in any way other than waving was a real immersion breaker for me. It would be amazing if they disabled party chat and made a solid in-game mic system that changed the players voice to have a radio style overlay if they were too far away.
