Its not even expensive when you take into account the only thing you give up by using your mote is aesthetic upgrades. 1/3 at exotic armour > aesthetics. If you never will play titan, dismantle it. Shards > bonds

I will be dismantling it.. very painful to have 23 Motes of Light converted into a handful of shards.

Broken loot system. Why should you be forced to spend your time grinding and waste it on something you don't want to.
