That's a ridiculous suggestion. What about involuntary disconnects? What about needing to quit for real life reasons like a strike running long and needing to go to work or school or take a crap? If you finished it alone and got a trophy why complain? You know if people quit it will usually match new players in so if you are not good enough to get through a spot alone you can just wait a few min. It's not like it really matters with randoms anyway since you can't talk to them or coordinate in any way they might as well be npc.

  • All of those reasons for quitting except the last one shouldn't matter if the penalty is not being able to do another strike for 30 mins to an hour, or having a temporary stat reduction. And the last one, depending on how long it takes you.. You aren't really required to leave.. Find a safe spot, if you can let your team know what's going on, or that you'll be afk, and sit down.. Then come back and catch up with your team.. If it takes you more than thirty minutes, the penalty is only temporary anyway, so depending on if they make it an hour or not, your ready to go, or wait a little bit longer and get back on the game..

  • I was just gonna say about the people who get disconnected from the server, that happened to me 3 times today. Total bummer.

  • The game can definitely tell if the disconnect is voluntary. Obviously, unwanted disconnects wouldn't be punished.
