FIXED. The culprit was my out of date router for me. I suspect that this is the case for a bunch of folks. I was told by a former Xbox call center rep that Belkin routers are the worst choice for Xbox. And mine was 8 years old. New router, not even one DC. From anything.

Damn wish I was that lucky. I bought the same router and even upped my bandwidth from 30 to 75 Mbps. All of that was unnecessary but I did I it anyway. What I can't wrap my head around is the fact that there is some problem with the servers so absolutely mind blowing it's taking engineers weeks and probably more to diagnose and patch it!! From what I've read these errors started with people who either rarely got them or never got them (me) and after installing version 1.02. Whatever was changed has completely changed the way I, and probably thousands if not more, connect to Destiny... I'm no genius but giving those changes a second look seems like a good idea. Sometimes during the day I can connect fine but as evening approaches I get bee and just call it quits after that because one bee error means game over til tomorrow afternoon if I'm lucky. Both Bungie and Activision are more than capable of having this solved already. I read they've already recouped the 500 million investment...and here I sit with the biggest budgeted video game of all time and it won't even connect to the servers. And if it does connect I get booted right at the perfect time and lose everything I just worked for. A broken 500 million dollar game that spent 5 years in the making... Unbelievable coming from Bungie and even more unbelievable it has not been fixed yet... So I pretty much realize no one cares to fix it because with every patch "bee" is ignored and the connection gets worse and even more is broken.

I have a linksys smart router. It's less than a year old and I still constantly get bee error.

Can't help you too much. I'm sure a certain amount of the issue lies with bungie. But for me I picked up the netgear nighthawk and that solved it all. The nighthawk is specifically for gaming and streaming.

In reading your OP I was considering asking how old your router was. Glad you got it straitened out. Older routers have a difficult time maintaining many concurrent connections.
