Why can't you just play the game without "farming"? Like actually PLAY THE GAME.

I don't think cod was ever mentioned but he is right this game was going to be about farming at some point.

Unfortunately there is nothing else to do after level 23. Since level 23 I have gotten 1 piece of gear better than what I was already wearing in a drop, that's out of probably 80-100 blue engrams. There's also nothing else to do but farm or grind, there's no difference between those two things. Blame bungie, not the farmers. I think the problem really is the level 24 strike gives you junk gear preventing you from leveling up and being able to unlock the next strike. This is the complete opposite of the way the entire strike format has worked up until level 24, which makes me think it's a glitch. Or someone made a big mistake.

I agree on your saying level 24, as I have been getting junk gear preventing me from leveling up. I would like to play the game and progress on but if i'm getting shit stuff than how am I going to get the chance to enjoy the next part?

The only way I have been able to level up since 23 is to farm blues and turn them in to level up my cryptarch rank. I'd say every 2nd reward has 1 decent thing in it.

If there is nothing else to do, then why farm? It makes no sense.

Have you even played the game? Once you hit level 20, there is nothing to do but farm gear. You NEED to be certain levels to do things, which means you NEED to farm. Once you unlock new things, you need to farm those to get better gear to unlock something else. Rinse and repeat this until level 26 when you cannot progress any further due to no raids being in the game. But once raids are added, people will need to farm those to get to level 28 and so on and so on until they finally hit level 30.
