I would have done whatever it took to keep joe staten and various other employees.
We can see it slowly happening.
It takes some serious delusional arrogance to sell of the halo franchise and challenge Microsoft.
Then spend that money on an oversized toys.
One big expansion pack cash grab.
If they don't get it done by November I feel it's lights out.
I would make so many changes to ensure success.

Edited by TeckGrizz: 9/13/2014 11:57:32 PMI think Halo was more of a contractual agreement, as Bungie might still be receiving royalty and earning from its sales. Microsoft owns the IP of Halo and the Franchise itself. You can take the game, but you can't take the people's knowledge of what the game had. as we see in Destiny. Activision is the #1 Publisher and has more money to spend in gaming over EA. Microsoft, Sony, anyone really.. So Activision can give them as much money as needed. Expansion pass is a discount pack on two DLC that come out one after the other. Just like other games that have Expansion passes....its not a cash grab as by themselves it would cost more. Its a 10% discount really. One comes out in October and the other in December I think. Also if you have feedback you should definitely put it in the feedback page.

All of the key players left bungie. You can't replace a Michael Jordan. Uhh.. Microsoft is an international company that has millions of employees. I saw plenty of bungie interviews. The heart and soul went to 343. They won't allow destiny to beat halo. Furthermore how can you speak on behalf of activision ? What if they don't want to give them more funding. Why would you think they would need that in the first place? I enjoy playing the game. It's very bland and you have to be really into it to put up with the inconsistencies and furthermore the drops. Reward system in the game is so boring that it's for the people who are really into it. The vanguard armory didn't even work. I paid. 34.99 for expansion packs 1 and 2. Of how many packs will I be buying? They have alienated the teen demographic. I don't see them or their parents expanding the universe when there are other games to buy. I also feel a 50k sq foot facility is obnoxious. You have to be so cocky to make such a bold move. Staying humble keeps you grounded. These next gen games will be constantly evolving. I think we are going to see a brand new business culture as well as games. Destiny has until November to keep people interested.

It's a cash grab when they advertise a giant story, then the story is piss poor and can only be expanded upon with $20 DLC every few months. It's a cash grab.
