Yup! If you locked the top you're screwed if you didn't then you still can get in.

Well if you have a wallet take out a card that's about the same thickness as a credit card ( don't use your credit card unless if you want to chance it ruining the strip on it) and slide it between the door where the lock is and poof! Open door possibly!

Yup! It just depends on which way they installed the closing part that holds the door close. I've had to do it a few times :/

Yup! Sometimes you can get it inbetween it but often times not! I've had to climb my house to get to a open window to get I my house before.

Basically! Haha I had nothing to help me get up to the second story except where the window ledges are though I almost ate shit and would have landed on my dogs metal kennel.
