It's not patched yet. They still respawn Vex and Fallen only so that drop of many rare and legendary weapons does still happen. Was there last night. But didn't linger there long. Now I plan to linger there for a very long time.

I wouldn't worry about it, it would take a ridiculous amount of time to get that many drops. Be better off doing strikes, least you get rep that way.
