PS3 Collector's Content not transferring to PS4?

So I redeemed the code on the PS3 and played a little with the new cool looking ghost and ship. Then I get my PS4 and bam, ghost no longer usable it resorts to plain white ghost even when its in my equip slot and same with the ship, but now the items say requires purchase or requires collectors. Even though i did buy collectors and an extra ps4 standard copy. So what am I doing wrong here, i thought it was guaranteed that items would transfer over no hassle, and because of that guarantee I thought I need the money to pay for the extra copy of destiny so Ill just sell my ps3 since I barely use it now that i have the PS4 and destiny. Any solutions here? anything would be great. Thank you, GameGolem See you starside

  • Any news on this, I got the same issue. Just recent bought a PS4 and didn't realize this until I was wondering why my ship was not appearing in orbit and checked my ship to find this problem, which it shouldn't have been in the first place.

    • So I submitted a code request form at Activision and they sent me a new code today. So guys and gals, as shitty as it is it looks like this'll see only way that we'll be able to get our collectors edition content on the PS4.

          • Having this issue as well. You are far from alone. Xbox got a fix yesterday and I was hoping we would too with the PSN updating. No cigar. I wish someone higher up would at least let us know they hear us.

            • Don't you get it guys, Bungie doesn't care about us and our issues. They just took our money and left us to rot. Which that is super BS and unprofessional, that's why I reported this BS to the Better Business Bureau.

              • I got the Collectors edition for m child since he plays on the PS3. we got a surprise and upgraded to PS4 (white bundle) So after setting it up and getting ready to play the same thing happened. His character is/was same level and gear and everything was there except the Collector's content, now his ghost and space ship are invisible. Help Bungie!!! this is poor execution of upgrade.

                  Any luck? I'm in the same situation as you. Tried calling Playstation support and they told me there was nothing they could do. I bought the Ghost Edition for PS3, and I'm trying to figure out how to make the DLC work on my PS4, it says it is installed but nothing is actually working.

                  • I had the same issue but with Xbox and the way I fixed it (while talking to Xbox Support) was going directly to the Xbox Live Download Store and re-installing the add-on content (for free) on my new system. Maybe you can do the same with the Playstation Store. Hope this helps you and any others that might stumble upon this post!
