Can't hear anything! The Guns, The World, PvP Nothing!

Last night when I went on it everything was fine. Now that I'm back on I can't hear anything. When I fire my gun it doesn't make a sound and nothing else makes a sound. Using XBOX ONE. Tried using HeadSet, turning it off and on nothing has worked. Any Suggestions?

  • This happens for me all the time. Hit the xbox button on the center of your controller so it minimizes and take you to the home screen then bring the game back up and the sound should be working again. You shouldn't have to restart the game at least that's how I fix it and it hasn't failed me yet

  • It happens when you shut the console off without quoting or ejecting the game. Just press the menu/start button and press quit then restart the game.

  • Same thing happenned to me. Think its just a minor bug. Hit the xbox button on the controller then go back into the game should work good luck.

  • You don't even need to quit the game in my experience. Simply go back to your home screen on the console and then launch Destiny again. Fixes it everytime for me.

    • From the home screen highlight Destiny, hit the start button or whatever it's called now, then go down to quit, and relaunch.
