So because you can lay down in CoD (and every other FPS) you can't lay down in this one? I don't understand, can you please explain?

You can't lay down in any Halo, goldeneye and so many more incredible games. This game is like Halo, and it is the Halo community that will be playing it for a looooooong time to come and it's the Halo community that will appreciate it. Long after all the cod kids ditch it for the next installment of call of doodie (aka madden of the FPS world). You just don't understand the skill in the way you can move in Halo. Prone is for games like Battlefield. And even those horrendous clones of cod 4.
