You know, when you look at all of the comments thrown at those two, the gaming community goes out of its way to prove them right. They wouldn't have got the attention they did if every Joe Gamer hadn't threatened to beat them, sexually assault them, make photoshops of them beaten up, send death threats to them and their families...
There IS a problem in the gaming community. Whenever a woman tries to do anything, the nerds attack.
The only thing I don't get is why they feel threatened. Its not like any of the nerds would put down the doritos and leave their parents basement anyways...

It's a problem with society as a whole. And she's not helping the case by lying or staging the situation to prove her points. If anything she's making the problem worse because she's giving people reason to doubt the problem. Is it ironic that the SJWs through around the same type of behavior they chide men for? Check the second link for a tame version of what I'm talking about.

I know that the internet can be extremely hostile to women and that if these accounts weren't created solely to manufacture outrage, it'ld be yet another disgusting tweet to throw onto the mountain of tweets just like it that have come before. But I'm still entertaining the thought that she could be staging it. I know it might just be angry pissed off gamers framing it themselves to paint Anita as a legbeard and a SJW to discredit her utterly and completely. But it might be her staging it for more attention and more money.

Could they be staging it? Sure. But you can just start a topic on any online gaming forum, and look at the replies to see that there are plenty of gamers that are happy to post that shit. I would ask why they need to stage attacks when they would have no shortage of volunteers to do it for them. No, gamers go out of their way to attack these two. Like I said, start a thread with either of their names, and see what you get.

I did. So far I've gotten suggestions to ignore them both and at least one person posting cohesive, coherent messages.
