flOw did supersampling? Never heard of that on console before.

The Bluray player can out put 1440p and they (obviously) wanted it to run natively but of course just down scaled :(

Edited by banj0: 9/5/2014 9:47:31 AMThe PS3 is capable of outputting 1440p, but television do you know of that supports that resolution? The higher resolution was done because the performance overhead, and SSAA is pretty much the best AA method available.
