I hardly ever pvp'd in DS (mainly 'cause I didn't want to be bothered) but the handful of times I've been invaded, I just hid and either; A. Magically got back stabbed once we finally did engage B. Equip a +5 Chaos Great Scythe along with pyromancy to keep them at bay whilst attacking them from afar. Invader is kill Or C. Hide until they leave One time I was in the Duke's archs and some guy took about 25 minutes to find me and when he did I hit him twice then we both backed up, he dropped some items then left. He then sent me a message saying "props for being so clever, I left you a gift." (which was some humanity and souls).
