The Railgun for a heavy weapon ?
Bungie! I'm pretty sure 343 created the Railgun, but I absolutely love that thing. It'd be dope to see something very similar as a heavy weapon! Charging up like a fusion rifle, but unleashing a fast, acurate shot with high damage but a small blast! Rocket launchers would have a bigger blast but less damage then I guess? Railguns are just so much fun my goodness

I support this idea. An heavy railgun would be nice. With a single high damage charged shot and a very small blast radius. It would make a nice heavy gun for the longest ranges in opposite to the machinegun which is optimal for close quarters.

2 RepliesHow about a coilgun? Basically the same thing as a rail gun but fires smaller projectiles and has a larger magazine. It could work like the fusion rifle to where it has to charge before fired, but unlike a rail gun wouldn't have to be reloaded after every shot. It could also have maybe three or four shots to use before being reloaded and would deal a small amount of splash damage. Also being a one-shot-kill to the torso or the head.
