I've always hated the Call of Duty community. It's full of Hackers, 7 year-old kids talking smack, and a lot of frustration. When I talked to them about their thoughts on Destiny, a lot said they would play it. Not to generalize the community as a whole, but I don't want my Destiny Crucible experience to be like a normal CoD BOII or Ghosts session. Anyone else feel the same?

1 ReplyWhy does it matter? Quit crying about it. Enjoy the damn game. I'm tired of people caring about who plays the game. It's a game. Whoever plays it, plays it. Get over yourself. You aren't the only person in the world. Call me "mad brah", but y'all need to either play the game and enjoy it, or get off the damn forums and play something else. NUFF said.

Nah, CoD:AW arrives soon, don't worry.
-
There will probably a little bit but I try not to worry about it. I'll be focusing on PvE.
-
Thats why im mainly going to play pve lol
-
1 ReplyNo way. Solo play
-
The game play is different from CoD so I wouldn't worry about it. Also the "mute player" option does exist.
-
Most of my friends are not fond of halo like I am and they think just because its made by bungie it's going to be a halo game, and I think it will be the same with cod players they'll find out its nothing like cod and leave because they are trying to join Faze or somthing

1 ReplyWell I have seen a lot of camping corners with shot guns during the beta and that got stale really fast.
-
This is the exact reason I hate CoD, played about 2-3 hours of an online session and never played again, any of them. I don't mind being beaten by a better player and i like it when I win, i dont want my experience being ruined by some little prick because he beat me or got beat by me and then starts giving me undeserved mouthfuls or messages. It's a game, games are played for fun. FUN!!!!

3 RepliesCOD? Do they still make that? What's next, a new edition of Alex Kidd? LMAO
-
3 RepliesThey'll quit when they realize there's no quickscoping.
-
Nope, I'm not worried at all.
-
2 RepliesNot really. I feel they will be weeded out and or converted to decent people.

Well, hey,if there are squeakers in Destiny,at least the only way you could hear or play missions with those annoying kids is if you add them as a fried and invite them to your fireteam, and if you accidentally do it,just kick em out!
-
Man.. cod kids are the least of your worries in PVP if your planing on going solo. lol
-
not really. A lot of that stuff you can just push to the side and who ever is being annoying in that match just become twice annoying. Or just simply have fun and you'll have fun regardless of watch going on.
-
Destiny is not CoD friendly. This game will play more like halo than CoD. I think personally. So I'm not worried. Besides, no matter what game you play or where you go; there will always be a CoD person playing and start smack talking. You just gotta learn how to ignore them and continue the rest of your day.
-
The best advice i can give is mute them and shoot them! Anyway Destiny will be an advance version of borderlands.
-
Won't it be fun to effortlessly gun down a quick scoping 12 year old?
-
they will only ruin it if you let them
-
1 ReplyDidnt even read your post, title makes you sound like an arsehole, theres good n bad in every comunity on earth! You dont like it, leave...
-
I honestly think that Destiny will change the way they play... CoD is much faster paced. It rush rush all the time. There's no need to hurry in Destiny you can take your time. You can rush all you want in the PvP but during the explore and missions you can slow it down a bit, get into position, line up your shots, plan a strategy, BS with your friends, get sidetracked. It will change them over time

I have all my college classes online this semester so I can just play while all the kiddies are at school >:)

Join a premade fire team with me, and you won't have to play with 7 year olds. I'm 30 with a Ph.D. in electromagnetics. PSN: DrEubanks Clan: Excelsior
