Is anyone else worried about CoD fanboys ruining Destiny?
I've always hated the Call of Duty community. It's full of Hackers, 7 year-old kids talking smack, and a lot of frustration. When I talked to them about their thoughts on Destiny, a lot said they would play it. Not to generalize the community as a whole, but I don't want my Destiny Crucible experience to be like a normal CoD BOII or Ghosts session. Anyone else feel the same?

At least it's a little harder to get to the crucible. Plus if they come let them come that's better for my kd ratio.

I generally enjoy playing Ghosts. I don't see a problem.

They'll play for a while, realise it isn't CoD and plays like a Halo title and then leave. We'll be fine.

I'm pretty much here for the PvE side of things. The PvP will be a fun side distraction every now and again but it is by no means the meat of the game. This is why I think it is so comical people are expecting the PvP to be up to par with Titanfall or COD, two games that don't even really have a story mode. If you treat the PvP for what it is, which is a side dish to PvE you will see that it is actually quite excellent.

The only people that ruins the game isn't the CoD fanboys, it's the negative people who moan, bitch and whine about the game.. "whaaaa...no matchmaking.. " "No private matches" "shotgun too OP... Nerf shotgun cos I dies from being shot at close range" "nerf Hunter/titan/Warlock... Super is too OP cos I died from it" You get the idea..

There's no escaping the squeaker squad: so long as ignorant parents don't raise their children, we will have cursing 8 year olds on XBL and PSN.
