I don't wear fedoras, but I do have a top hat. To be honest the hats themselves aren't that bad, it's just a matter of who's wearing it. The only reason these are usually mocked is due to the photo of someone who didn't pull it off catching on over the internet, and the arrogant personality created to go along with the images themselves.
