Ps3 and ps4

If you were playing BF4 on PS3, I would say last-gen console is not the best place to play BF4. BF4 was designed from the ground up for 32v32 combined-arms Conquest Large (with rescaled maps for different player counts and game modes) and apparently, the maps were not tailored well for last-gen. But you play on PS4 too so that does not explain it. I am 100% certain you will find most people prefer BF3 over BF4, since the player base for BF3 is twice as big as for BF4. BF4 has had its problems (which continue for some people), so that makes it an easy target, even among people who have never tried the Battlefield franchise. Also, a lot of Battlefield players like infantry-type play, and again core BF4 (outside of Operation Locker) was designed for combined-arms chaos. I personally love BF4.
