He wants to know if you think having to pay a monthly fee (subscription) in order to play Destiny, would ruin the game / make you quit playing. Destiny would be like world of warcraft, final fantasy xiv a realm reborn, and the elder scrolls online. Because they charge 15$ or less to play each month or a bigger fee to play for 3 months, 6 months, and a year. Anyway I wouldn't play Destiny if I had to pay a subscription. Just like I don't play any of the games I mentioned above.

Never stated it was currently pay to play, first sentence in post: If at some point in the future they decide to include some sort of monthly subscription. The relevance is someones opinion on a hypothetical change.

The post makes perfect sense, for a different type if game. This games lifespan is based off your guardian(s) everything will be fluid in transition from game to game
