Haha. Look at the Halo 4 Scanned trailer. Now that was a beautiful trailer. I saw the augmentations and I was internally screaming, "YES. THEY FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT!"

Wow did Bungie destroy the lore that bad. Sorry I'm new with the lore I only started with Kilo-5 and Forerunner Saga.

Bungie gave precisely -1 shits when it came to Reach and established lore. I remember in the legendary commentary marty was like "doesn't this break canon?" About something and lehto was like "no it all fits" (I'm paraphrasing, this was 4 years ago).
