Why does anyone care how someone else gets their gear? I like the cryptarch simply because I will not play pvp so I have extremely low chances of getting anything good unless I farm. Why is the cryptarch any different to the factions selling all their swag anyways? As said the crucible levels out all weapons and nobody else's pve game affects yours.

Well to be fair, Iron Banner doesn't even everything out and that looks like it's going to be a returning playlist.

This is true but if you play pvp your chances to get better items seem to be higher than those who don't. farming also takes time and is extremely tedious so in the end what's more important? Having the gear or where you got it from? I played with 2 friends constantly and one of them got 2 rare items in pve and I never got a single one with near 24 hours of game time. The only way I got my best weapons which were uncommon at best was to buy them or from the cryptarch.

Didn't pick up a single one. Same play time as my friends doing pretty much the entire time as a fire team. Luck of the draw I guess which is why the cryptarch is a good idea especially for someone who doesn't play pvp.

Well did you do the strike and missions over?
-
Yeah did the strike a few times. Did lots of missions on explore mode and played the story once.
-
Well you just had crappy luck... Me Andy friends had 5 rare items each give or take.

Sounds about right. Hopefully I have better luck next month.
