I've been trying a lot of Civ 5 recently. I'm... well I'll be honest- I'm really bad. I can't win a game above the second lowest difficulty. But it's still fun.

Technically that's a turn based strategy/empire builder but it doesn't really matter lol yeah civ 5 is damn fun and it's got...unique multiplayer glitches lol mwahahahaha

Oh yeah I guess so. RTS would be more Starcraft. Which I still haven't finished though I've owned it for like ay ear now, hah.

I'd recommend supreme commander (any of them) or planetary annihilation both are from the makers of total annihilation

I do actually own Supreme Commander. Probably from a Humble Bundle at some point. My friend really likes it I know. I haven't even downloaded it yet though. So much on my backlog. :P [spoiler]Destiny won't help, hah.[/spoiler]

Yeah sup com 1 has a tier system and forged alliance is a direct sequal to that but in supcom 2 they have a research tree

I love civ but I had to stop because the games were so long and I'd spend an entire afternoon playing without noticing, lol.
