Halo 2's had better songs than CE's but it also had some worse.
Riven is more atmospheric than Myst, but a lot of that atmosphere is from very amorphous music. I prefer beats and tunes to just... sound.

Haven't played mist, but I agree with the others.

It's on gog.com and it's amazing. It's a bit archaic in terms of design, as a first-person point-and-click game without a game engine. The visuals consist entirely of pre-rendered frames, and you move about one frame at a time by clicking ahead. Seeing as it's from 1993, there isn't actually an official trailer to share.
