Guess how long the Main and side story combined will be!!!
The Halo games side + main story were all around one of these categories. What's your guess?

Considering how long it took me to finish the Earth story... Decently short, maybe little over 10 hours, maybe less

Are you talking about completing each mission on both difficulties solo? If so that may add a decent amount of time to it. Personally I think the main story will be beaten very quickly, at least on lowest difficulty with a fireteam. As for side missions go, they are infinite & random so may take long time to get each mission. Overall I think it's safe to figure 10+ hours solo & probably 4-5 with a team

Considering im about 85-95% done with Tomb Raider after 12-14 hours.......I would think it will atleast be 18-20 hours long :D I spent a good 15 hours atleast in the beta (aka 4 or 5 low level story missions)....so....we should be fine

16 RepliesThis is a pve based rpg halo does not compare and as an rpg its over 10 hours thats a given rpg's can go for 200 hours most atm with storyline.

2 RepliesI don't think many people here have played true betas before. I've been in many and a lot of times I find in the retail version that the missions have changed up. Also they said you level up faster in the beta, so going off of what we played already is kind of silly. I'm thinking 20 hour range at a normal pace, probably faster on a speed run.

In one of the videos from ign (forgive me for not remembering which one) it was implied that the story would be fairly quick (I'm guessing the 8-10 hour range) but the end game content and gear grinds would be much longer than the story mode. If it's longer than 10 hours for story I would be very very happy but also surprised.

1 ReplyIt will be to short if it is only 10 hours... Getting to level 20 in 10 hours would seem somewhat cheap to me... I would say more like 15-20 for the whole story... But I think they said that end game will even be part of the story anyway
