This argument needs putting to bed, it's pointless fighting over who is right and who isn't in regards to advantages and disadvantages to matchmaking..
The game isn't even out yet, let's just put this to 1 side until we can play the game, then we are all in a better position to judge.

I only posted this thread to put the point across that it seems like a poor choice to exclude matchmaking and to silence some of the phenomenally ill-conceived counter points. I didn't want to get caught in this brain-numbing "argument" spanning days, though I have to admit, I did expect it. :/

Understandable, I personally don't want mm, but I will reserve judgement until I get up to end raid, I might be wrong to agree not to implement mm but time will tell.

All of my friends are pro-MM and were shocked to hear it wasn't being implemented. As for this news about it not being in the game, it still isn't common enough knowledge to gauge the reaction. One of my friends only found out today, so this news is still slowly being dispersed and absorbed amongst people.

I don't want to add to this argument my friend, I only see that it's not going to be in the game (for now) so I guess we will just have to live with it, like it or not. I am sure we will both pick up friends along our journey through the game and maybe raid with those people when we get there. And when we do, we will think back on these arguments and think "wow, did we really argue about such petty things? "
