That was hard to read. I don't mean content-wise, you just have some points where it's clear that its two sentences crammed together I don't know what people do this on the internet it makes things confusing.
I kind of disagree on the class changes. I like them as they are. There's enough that's different about how they handle that they feel distinct, but they don't overload the control scheme, which might happen if each class had a few additional skills.
I also definitely don't think that adding new skills would be an easy process from a dev perspective, but I can only really speculate.

Edited by Safeonblock: 8/1/2014 10:34:54 PMThis is how it would work. Quick cast wheel. Again Shadowrun as an example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYY2hhEX3A8 YOu can see the support elements with Tree of Life which heals anyone standing around it. Teleports through walls. IDK if they show the quick wheel mechanic but ill try to link it.

ya sorry about the grammatical errors on my part my writing structure could use some help. I am glad to hear that I am the minority in this so far because I do love bungie as a company. They have done great things so far with the FPS genre, and like I said above it really comes down to money. I don't feel as though the addition of new skills would be difficult for them as they are a talented team but to do it this late in the development process with the game only a month out would. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with me and I am glad your enjoying the game so far.

The main thing that makes me think it'd be tough from a developer's perspective is that you have to create the new skill, including an animation for it from both your perspective and from other perspectives, code it into the mechanics of the game, find a way to tweak the current control scheme so that you can activate the abilities, but probably won't accidentally activate them trying to do something else, put it in the leveling system, add a few modifiers or figure out how existing modifiers should affect it, balance it for both PvP and PvE, and then test it extensively to try to find bugs. I don't really know, it just sounds like a lot of work, not a comparatively simple fix. All I really want implemented into the game is less exclusivity in voice chat.

Well it is true that you get out what you put in. If one is lazy they will never achieve anything but mediocrity. The budget for the game is massive and bungie has the resources. It would suck to have to reprogram etc but it may be worth it for the games longevity. Remember that their goal is a 10 year life span.

That's all well and good when you're talking about vague bullshit, but when you're talking about what realistically can and can't be accomplished in less than a month, the specifics start to matter.

like I said it would come down to time more than skill. Bungie is not short on skill, just time. Nobody including me wants to see destiny pushed back despite my complaints I am still excited to play the full version. You do bring up a pretty good point with the voice chat I honestly didn't think about that myself.

Not like they cant patch stuff in later.
